m_d_hwhen I moved, the DC area hadn’t turned into the supergentrification yet, so I could afford it and I could jump onto the career escalator before ALL THE FUCKING KIDS wanted to move to bubble cities and then nobody could afford it unless you were elite
that’s what changed
after my generation, Generation X, suddenly everybody wanted to move to the bubble cities
I’M SORRY I MADE THIS DESIRABLE FOR ALL OF YOU
but then there were no warehouse dance clubs anymore, or casual strip clubs, or hey cuddle party with drugs, because now everything costs $3K/month
