There's a serious difference between socks I've worn for a day and fresh socks. My feet appreciate. Fresh socks. Reminds me of back when I'd run for XX miles in the summer humidity, training for a marathon, and my socks would be soaked and I'd get back to the car and put on dry socks for the drive home. Dry socks. Fresh socks. Whoever invented socks?!?
Socks are at least 3000 years old, according to Wikipedia. As an invention, I mean.
Watching a gay mystery -- "Last Ferry" -- as I remind myself that it's totally OK to just relax and let go. I don't need to have goals for my down time. Was a stressful week, I don't need to have goals for my down time.
Sounds like tomorrow I'm picking up B on the way back to the house.
Told sister-in-law we're not going to do Turkey Day. CDC guidance, Pandemic, etc. Yesterday was the 4th highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, we're entering the 2nd Wave, I think.
It's getting dark earlier now, Dark Mode. And the heat is on in the condo now.
Looking forward to talking with K on the phone, but may happen tomorrow instead, which is OK.
While T is away I'm going to play some virtual board games with Steve. A week to myself at the house will be strange. Gotta bring back stuff from the condo tomorrow that I'll want at the house, not sure what that stuff will be. The iPad, the backup laptop, but anything else?
