Bug is OK.  Went on a walk yesterday evening and took pictures of the people hanging out at Dupont Circle while I listened to music on earphones.

Will clean up the condo this morning and head back to the house.  T is having a three-day meditation "retreat" at the house next weekend, so I'll be back here for another two-night stay.

And I drew a Joker this morning, hah, on my first day, so I get to have as many orgasms as I want today :-)  Unlocked until bedtime :-)  I bet I'll have three.

maintaining the rituals

I always clean up the condo before I go back to the house, I put stuff away, do dishes, take out trash, make the bed ... because this condo is a shared space between me and K.  This morning is different, because I'm 99.99% sure I will return to the condo before K does ... I'll be here next weekend, K will be in Portland ... but I'm still treating this condo as a shared space.  I even made the bed this morning!  I never make my bed at the house.  At the house, the cats prefer a jumble of blankets anyway, they can create little nests for themselves during the daytime.

K reminded me a week or two ago, that I should still keep the condo toys put away, because sometimes the condo management sends people inside a condo to inspect stuff.  Yeah, and I never know when I might be bringing a friend or fuckbuddy here with me, I don't want the place to look like a disaster when I'm not here.

And at some point in the future (After the Vaccine) K will be shuttling back and forth between DC and Portland every so often, so long as he continues to work for this employer.  In person work meetings every few months, and taking breaks from his family, and visiting me for events like MAL.

After a couple years we'll probably reconsider the condo situation.  K might need cash for a down payment in Portland.  I might be ready to buy a place of my own.  Maybe I'll buy this place from him, but we'll figure that out a couple years from now.
