keyboard or not?

The only thing I want to bring back to the house that is too big to carry to the parking garage is the keyboard.  I'd thought that if I really wanted to get into music again, that I'd just buy another keyboard for the house rather than carrying this one back and forth.  But then the money crush happened ...

So I might drive the car to the back loading area to run up and get the keyboard.

I'm picking up B on the way to the house, so I'll have a chance to talk with him in the car.

I'm curious whether that sore throat I had could've been COVID-19, but I had no other symptoms, and I mean no other symptoms.  No fever or fatigue, no cough or congestion.  I did have a dream that I was having an asthma attack, but then felt fine upon waking fully.  And nobody I've been in contact with has reported any symptoms to me.  I may never know.

My internal jury is still out on how much $$$$ I can toss my sister's way and how soon.  I may need to talk with her to get more details of how much things cost and by when she's got to pay.  She's never asked for this much at once before.  I wonder whether her housemate asked her to ask me because they all think I'm the Rich Uncle.  I expect T to catch up on bills, including an explanation of how he's going to pay for his half of the basement repairs, sometime this week.

I think if I only have one keyboard, I'm more likely to use it at the house than here.  Here at the condo feels more like play time, picking up music again feels more like work, at least at first, while relearning the fundamentals.

Sunday

Picked up B from his apartment on the way back to the house, he ordered lunch as I drove, had a nice lunch with him, then T took a break from his online class to hang out with B as I napped.  When T returned to class, B woke me so I could play a couple board games with him, then I drove him back to his apartment.  Was a pleasant afternoon, B was in a calm and friendly mood.

Just had dinner with T, will prepare for bed soon.

Spoke with K on the phone :-)  16 days after I last saw him.  Sounds like their move and unpacking has gone well, but now they have to catch up on their jobs.  Spoke with Sir Ben last week, and now with Sir Zero (K) this week, my two currently remote Sirs.  Sir Ben would probably be willing to give me remote assignments if I wanted them, but right now I'm not interested in assignments, they feel too much like chores, of which I have too many -- even more chores now that the maids are on furlough.

T will go away for a week on Friday, we need to get caught up on the money situation before then.  I'm feeling less guilty about putting off my sister, I'll try to speak with her this week to get more details on her cash crunch.

I decided not to bring the keyboard to the house this time.  Everything I brought fit into my gym bag with my dirty clothes & towels.  Mainly brought back the backup laptop and the newer iPad so I'll have more screens to play with while T is away.

My Sleeping Beauty laptop has been fine since it woke back up on Friday.
