Monday stuff

m_d_hPut one cat away easily this morning, the other cat required extra work. Maids Day. It's pretty typical for me to feel stressed and for T to yell at me about something as we get everything prepared by 8am.
Was able to do yoga and stretching once I arrived at the condo. Then I was on the phone most of the rest of the day, until I quit at 3:30pm to drive to the grocery store and then home. T cooked dinner tonight at my request because I felt worn out after driving home and shopping, so I will probably cook the next two or three nights. It feels stressful to go to the grocery store and deal with other humans who may not be wearing their masks correctly and may not be maintaining distance properly. Mainly we get groceries delivered now, but sometimes it is easier to do it myself.
The Washington Post says 18.5 million people have received their first shots so far. Where's mine!?! Where's the data on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine? Moderna said they've started working on their next version of the vaccine, based on some of the newer variants that have popped up. COVID-21! So, yeah, we could be looking at annual COVID shots just like annual flu shots. COVID may never go away, and may continually evolve. But eventually we won't get so freaked out about it. As I've been saying for a while now, I will return to my normal activities two weeks after I get the shot(s). I will continue to follow local rules, but I will be willing to do stuff like go on dates, ride trains or planes, get my dental and medical checkups, schedule hair cuts, go to entertainment events. Invite other vaccinated people to play board games in person!
In the past it has taken 2-3 weeks for the production of my custom 3D-printed cages from Custom Chastity, and then up to 10 days for shipping (this is my third order from them). Last time the cage arrived during a period of high stress so I didn't write in my LJ about it when it arrived, so I don't know how long it took to arrive. But 2-3 weeks plus 10 days ... it could be a month in the (ugly) Leopard with the keys frozen until I swap cages. But nobody else is looking at my locked up cock.
My hair is super long now! I can get away with it because it is winter and I can wear hats and caps, even while running. But once it warms up I'm gonna have to give myself a butch cut. That's the sort of cut they give military inductees, it's just the same short length all over your head. K was pretty good at giving me a normal-looking tapered cut, but I'm pretty sure when it comes time to give myself a haircut I'm going with the simplicity of the butch cut. And that time will come when it is too warm to run outside while wearing a hat.
I'm over my lonely feelings from yesterday. Perhaps these weekly virtual gaming sessions meant more to me than I realized. But I would've felt too stressed out had I ignored my Monday morning deadline to play games. And then ... my Boss rescheduled the thing for Tuesday anyway, sigh.
T is back on his video game after dinner. What should I read, watch, or play during the next two hours until I fall asleep?
It's a wintry mix outside tonight, so I may not be able to run or hike in the morning, so it may be back to the dance videos tomorrow -- in our basement gym with the video screen. In the proper shoes this time! I feel fat, LOL.
