When Dax and I reach the elementary school grounds, I remove his leash, and usually I don't put it back on, he gets to roam the playground off-leash, and walk back home on the sidewalks off-leash.

It's so transgressive.  One time a man yelled at me to leash my dog.  Seriously!  Yelled!  From far away!

But Dax is well behaved.  He waits for me to signal it is OK to cross the street.  If I tell him to wait, he waits, if I tell him to come, he comes, if I tell him to sit, he sits.

Bug's inner Dom -- I can make these pets behave, because I love them and treat them well.  It's for all of us.  Servant Leadership -- I lead for you.  That's how I run my branch at the office also.  I love them and treat them well, and they do what I say.

That's what BDSM is supposed to be about also -- you take charge because he needs you to, and because you know how to help him grow into his better self.
